Seminar Days

'Flowers for the Weekend’ is a floral seminar with a difference. The day covers fabulous floral designs and arranging techniques, with the addition of specialist guest presentations by leading natural health therapists from the area. Sessions cover alternative methods of relaxation to help bring out the very best of your floral creativity and style, whilst giving a great boost to the health of your mind, body and soul!

‘Flowers for the Weekend’ covers 3 floral arrangements – one each – for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Designs will be created with gorgeous fresh cut materials, offset by fabulous containers of different shapes and sizes. All material costs are covered within the seminar fee and are yours to take home, including a fantastic pair of professional floristry scissors. Refreshments will be provided throughout the day and a delicious lunch will also be served.

Morning Session – to make sure everyone is comfortable and relaxed before we start work on the floral designs, we will present and demonstrate relaxation techniques to focus the mind and kick-start creativity and confidence.

Afternoon Session – We will present and demonstrate in the closing session how to wind down and enjoy the wonderful benefits of Hot Thermal Stones therapy.

Cancellation of goods must be notified 48 hours in advance of delivery to guarantee refund of monies received by Floral Candy for payment of goods ordered. Any goods produced by Floral Candy proved within 24 hours of delivery to be unsatisfactory, will be replaced within 2 days.

Customer payments by credit/debit card are accepted. Floral Candy does not store financial details once the cheque/bank transfer transaction has been successfully completed.

Floral Candy is a floristry service established in 2006, supplying high quality cut flowers and floral designs to customers.
Candy Youngson is the owner and founder of the business and works as an independent florist throughout East Sussex and in and around the borders of Kent.

Floral Candy is not shop based, but runs independently of the High Street to keep prices at an affordable level for customers. All cut flowers and floristry materials are researched and sourced to ensure prices are competitive. Floral Candy supports the UK wholesalers and growers. We buy regularly from traders at the New Covent Garden Market in London and source fresh materials whenever possible through local outlets. Our hands-on approach to buying keeps prices competitive and to a minimum. Regular contact with the UK wholesalers means we keep up-to-date with news on UK flower trading and also gain great insight into emerging floral trends. We advise customers at the point of sale to help them make suitable choices to fit the occasion, whether it’s a bouquet of flowers, a floral arrangement, or simply buying fresh cut flowers for the living room.

Floral Candy consultations are free of charge, within a 15 mile radius of Heathfield, East Sussex. Meetings can be held in the privacy of your own home, or at the venue location, for weddings and special events.

Delivery service is available Monday to Saturday (excluding bank holidays) and must be booked 24 hours in advance of delivery. The cost is charged per location at £5.95 (note this price is based on current fuel prices and is subject to change) within a 15 mile radius of Heathfield, East Sussex. There is no delivery charge for weddings, corporate events and funeral tributes, providing the delivery location is within the area previously specified.
